The first American bar in Finland was opened 1960: the bar had to be semi-circular with bar chairs around it. Jorma Soiro,
the director of the hotel at the time, used matchbox to make sure the bar was long enough and complied with the requirements.
The American Bar has sometimes been called the university of bar tenders, and it has become known for its art, which most bars
